New Application filed at IBN for Hongshi Group and Shivam Cements
Gandhi and Associates has advised a second client and filed an application for Foreign Direct Investment at the Investment Board of Nepal. The Investment Board is a body of the Government of Nepal set up specifically to facilitate foreign investments of more than US$ 100 million. A few months after G&A assisted Reliance Cements (India), a subsidiary of the Reliance ADA Group, for a project estimated at US$ 400 million, this new application is for a Joint Venture between Hongshi Group of China and Shivam Cements of Nepal. The project cost is estimated at US$ 360 million. These experiences further demonstrates G&A’s expertise in such large scale projects. G&A is the only firm in Nepal that is currently advising on two Investment Board applications.
